We welcome students from Belarus to study at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague!

Preamble

The AMU special scholarship programme is announced on the grounds of the current situation in the Republic of Belarus where some students suffer from repression and are expulsed from universities. The support is intended for those students who are afraid to continue studying in Belarus and/or for students who have not been allowed to study in Belarus.

The programme is announced in accordance with the budgetary rules and further to the Rector’s Decision of 7 December 2020, which is based on the position of the Government of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Students from the Republic of Belarus admitted to any of the Faculties may be supported as part of the programme based on applications submitted to the individual Faculties and depending on an assessment of the student’s talent and academic prerequisites for the specific type of unaccredited programme/course.

The subject of the programme is to encourage student applications for support under the programme.
