Students from the 2nd year of the Department of Production at DAMU announce an OPEN CALL for the theatre showcase for the festival Zlomvaz 2022, which will take place from 8th to 11th of June 2022 at DAMU (Karlova 26, Prague 1).
Open call is open not only to graduate performances, but also to semestral performances and projects beyond school duties.
Due to the current situation, the application is open for projects that were created in the academic year of 2020/2021, but also traditionally for productions that are currently in preparation and are to be premiered by the end of May 2022.
The theme of this year's festival is mental health.
Not only its reflection, but also options of taking care of it and efforts to prevent already existing mental and other problems.
We would like to link this theme with the theatre showcase and other parts of the festival programme. If you have any projects dealing with such themes and they are not theatre performances but you still feel like it would fit the festival’s vibe please contact us at divadlo@zlomvaz.cz
The open call is open until 28th of February 2022, and we will inform you about the results by 31st of March 2022. The performances will be selected by the programme board, which is composed of students from several DAMU departments.
