A thesis or qualification work (Vysokoškolská kvalifikační práce – VŠKP) is the Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis, or doctoral dissertation, as the case may be (hereinafter “thesis”), which every student submits at the end of their studies to demonstrate their ability to independently address an assigned topic, conduct the necessary review of the secondary literature and/or reflect on their own creative activity in the form of a theoretical work.
Within the scope of certain programmes of study, the thesis also includes the graduate performance, in which students demonstrate the level of their artistic or scholarly work by creating an original artwork, artistic performance or scholarly project.
